5th of Sunsong

Why does dreadful business keep happening around me? First it was putting my burrow in the exile area right next to the vampire's den, then it was moving my burrow right next to an apparent murderer, and now I see something called a 'shade' on the road to where I live?? 

It was terrifying, some of the other critters don't seem to understand how scary it was! I can feel my fur raising just thinking about it. I don't know if it was dangerous, it at least didn't stick around for very long. I saw it and then as I blinked, it was gone.

I sincerely hope it was just some child of Morothi playing an absurd prank. I wouldn't say it was a very funny one, but it's possible. I'm not sure if anyone else has seen it... Still... It's probably best to warn other critters. At least Quarrel, Sebastian and Lumi seemed to be taking it seriously.

Anyway... Better news... Oh, I put a paper up in the Commerce Guild and I got my first coin from that the other day! Just some firestarters for Pith~

I still haven't gotten my lamp back, too... I purchased one over a week ago, probably. I should catch up with that rat soon to see if it's done being charged. If I'm going to be ready for the festival that's practically on my doorstep, I should have some lighting in my burrow!
