Windy

I noticed a fire in Windy's burrow that hadn't gone out for a really long time. I'd mentioned this OOC to another player who stated that they also had a fire lasting very long, but did at least seem to be going down. However, I logged in today and the fire in Windy's burrow seems to still be going despite no extra fuel (to my knowledge) being added.

I should note that Windy's fire is beneath a camp stove, just in case it's a specific issue with the camp stoves.

I have at this point had two campfires going in my burrow for at least seven hours (no camp stove). I wasn't present to witness these fires being started, so I don't know if they were ever cooking fires that went down to campfires; I've seen them as campfires this entire time, and as far as I know, no further logs were added (though I had a few people inside the kitchen so I don't know whether someone added any without my knowledge).

I've also had an oven going for nearly as long (maybe six hours), but it has definitely gone down from roaring to a normal oven. It's still going, though, when normally it'd have burned out in two or so hours.

I also previously had a fire go on for about five hours a few days ago, but it did go out eventually (unlike Windy's). It also clearly burned for a shorter time, and it definitely started as a cooking fire.

Putting a pot on a fire seems to pause its decay. I logged off with two water pots on two cooking fires about eleven hours ago, only to log on to two pots boiling on two cooking fires.

My camp stove has also had a fire going since pretty much when I acquired it (approximately October 9th); other than the night I deliberately left a pot of water on it to see whether it'd boil after many hours, I have been removing pots as often as I can (I do still want to cook) and have not been adding fuel.

However, the camp stove's flames have decayed over time; it's just still burning and still able to boil water for some reason.

edit: I have been told someone added one fossilwood to it on October 10th

Fires lit beneath stills do not stop burning, and there doesn't seem to be a way to douse the fire as trying to pour a cup of water over it simply says "you can't fill it with that." Therefore, they just bubble infinitely again with no way to retrieve what's inside or finish crafting.

However, I did want to point out that ovens DO still run out of fire correctly. They don't seem to be affected by the fire bug.
