May not be a bug and I'm just using the wrong items, but reporting just in case

Unable to add toppings to cake, despite the cake being highlighted when clicking and dragging certain items onto it. So far, honey and two types of jam have been tried. The cake flashes briefly when dragging the items onto it, but nothing happens.
