My character walks quickly, and traveling at night with a dimming fire crystal (about this brightness and lower) creates a flashing effect that is pretty straining on the eyes. Even trying to move by just tapping the directional keys is not great for me. 

I noticed that when my character moves, there's a slight delay before the light snaps to their new position. I think the issue could be fixed if the light followed the character more smoothly, or (if possible) the border around each ring of light was blurred.
