Dart

[[The book is carefully adorned with bookmarks, pressed herbs, many foreign. Despite seeming worn and old, it's clearly been well taken care of.]]

[The first passage is carefully written in common, each letter seeming carefully written on the inside of the front cover. The rest of the book looks written by a completely different author.]

My Sweet Dart,

Sometimes I wonder if others blink out of existence when I'm not looking, sometimes old friends blink out of my mind as well...I hope this book prevents me from you doing the same to me.

-Pike

[The next few pages, before the first bookmark and covered in ink and inkstained paw prints, seem to have depictions of critters without faces or blurred faces, and poorly scribbled notes on their defining features apart from their facial features. A depiction of fish stamps one of the final page before the first bookmark.]

Dart

[[The first bookmark is a piece of paper stained with what seems to be sweetberry and ink berry juices.]]

[A shaky scurric is written on this page, the name Dart, some letters and some attempts at other words that seem to have to be either unreadable, or doodled over.]

[Two paws of different sizes have been stamped onto the bottom of the page. One larger squrriel's paw and one that is far smaller.]

[A few pages later, another attempt at pawwriting is joined by another's, the other one's seeming soft and measured compared to the shaky scribbles of the first.]

Hello. The critter walked across the path.

[This continues for a few pages before it slowly gets overcome by doodles. A few pages seem to have been partially torn out, esepically the ones with writing.]
