I spent some time prototyping a way to view the game's maps from the admin panel, to make it easier to set people's position or edit items on the ground. Unfortunately, this didn't play very well with browsers; turns out something like 50,000 div elements and a 10,000-input radio group to represent a 100x100 zone leads to an untenable amount of lag due to the way HTML works, and it'd only get worse with the larger zones in beta. So I had to scrap that. Oh well!
Live editing of players has continued; I've hooked up the character sheet to pull data from the server so it displays up-to-date info at time of page load (since the database is always up to 5 minutes behind the live server) and am going down the checklist of things to connect so that you can live edit them. My goal is 100% parity; if you can edit it while a player is offline, you should be able to edit it while they're online. No one should have to log out for anything to be edited, at all. As you can imagine, this will translate well into allowing for GMs to control things from inside the game as well, eventually! Here's a video of some of the awesome powers that GMs now wield:
