Bugs fixed today:

  • Could attempt to move with a speed of zero instead of just rotating in place.
  • Server was being spammed with facing messages if you held down the movement keys while rotating.
  • Holding down the movement key desyncs the drag on the dragged player's client.
  • Drag breaks after going up or down a ladder as the dragged player gets respawned.
  • Dragged players disappear when they are dragged into a new zone.
  • Players who are heavy sleepers will no longer cease to count as knocked out for other players after two minutes asleep.

It took quite a while to figure out how to make the seamless transition paradigm work properly when the client isn't the one making the transition, since it's supposed to tell the server when the transition happens. But I got it done, and I'm ready to call player dragging bug-free enough to move on... to dragging items.
