I think you need to be more specific. Emptying a tapped dye cask (I presume this is what you mean and not barrel) deletes the cask as well as the fittings?
The cask remains, is named 'Empty Tin Cask' and is unable to return to being a cask. Meaning, there are no options to return the tapped cask to an empty cask to return to operations, it's rendered unusable.
Can second this. Not a dye cask in my case but I emptied a tapped cask full of juice with a barrel and it left the cask stuck in the tapped status without returning the fittings.
Thank you Grieren, that's a more precise description. It's called "empty" but still acting like a tapped cask and not fully reverting to the empty upright state, and therefore can't be used for anything? I should be able to work with that.
