As many of you have already noticed, Kuro has been going around talking about his former clan, Clan Kroven, and attempting to rebuild it. The Kroveni were a fledgling empire in the Old World, conquering a large swath of its villages and even a few small kingdoms, protecting them under their banner. However, not too long ago, they were wiped out when its two warlords, Kiiro and Aoi Kroven, were mysteriously murdered in a single night, and their camp burned to ash. Many of the warriors in the Clan then turned on their brothers, slaughtering most of its battle-ready force, effectively putting a complete end to the Kroven expansion. Kuro himself was left for dead on Kalris.

The Kroveni espoused the virtue of freedom above almost all else. However, this idea of freedom meant that all critters under their banner must see their needs met. Food, water, shelter, and safety were all to be provided without question to any under their watch. This meant that critters with more must give to those with less. From every critter what they can spare, to every critter what they need. Kroveni warriors enforced this by way of raw might, if need be, though many of the conquered villages were grateful to be uplifted by the Kroveni to begin with.

Any may fly the Kroven banner if they so choose, signalling their willingness to aid others in need, as well as call upon the Clan for protection if needed. However, Kuro is on the lookout for a few specific sorts of individuals, if they are willing to ally themselves with him more directly.

• A scholar, versed well in history, local lore, or any sort of knowledge that might prove useful.
• An armorsmith.
  
• Mages of any sort, but especially blue, white, and purple.
  
• An advisor; a right-hand critter.
• Warriors, for keeping the peace.
