[Inspired By Harris's "scritchings"!

Also uh, here's some base rules on these entries for if a character can/can't reference them. 1: The character MUST know Lapin, it makes no sense for Song to not write these in their mother tongue. 2: The character must either have Song show them the log, OR (when I get my hands on paper) I'll scatter them around/maybe put them in a folder in Song's burrow when I get paper/an inkwell in there. The entries must also make sense for the character to know, the first couple of entries are gonna be BEFORE Song went to the island, so it doesn't make sense for anyone who didn't know Song before they left to understand these, as I don't see them taking the old journal entries with them.

Anyways, without further ado, here's the first one!]

Docks and rumors:

I talked to someone at the docks today. There's been creatures of varying species passing by our city today...I don't really like how most of them don't speak Lapin. No one ever bothered to try and teach me Common since I wasn't intreasted in it. 

Not that it's a huge deal. Anyways, the rabbit said that they were heading to an island where there stands a great empire, yadda yadda yadda. Didn't bother writing their exact words down, not very important. BUT apparently magic is common there? Like, bits of quortz quartz, according to this rabbit, are ALL throughout the sands, rocks, everything else!

Sure, it's apparently a long trip, but I'm sure critters stayed there because of how much better it probably is. I'm gonna ask around to hear more about it...that rabbit only mentioned the quartz at the tail end of the conversation! I would've paid far more attention if I'd known!

Anyways, my paws are getting sore from all this writing. Hopefully I'll be back soon with more information!
