Trace’s Musings - Day… 3? 4?

Figured I’d finally start writing something after a few days of being around here… and what a busy few days they have been! Mainly going to hit the highlights here…

I poked around the library a bit initially… woof, things are looking in rough shape. A lot of books were barely holding together, and I couldn’t find every book I wanted.

None the less, I made my way to a tavern. I was warned it was a “drama hole”, or something along those lines, but… what you gonna do?

There… I met Harris. We spent a lot of time together in the coming days, scrounging about for what little food was around (which is also… unfortunately scarce. Working out a solution still…) He’s a nice fellow, and he taught me a bit of Scrounging (even if I’m not exactly the best at it…) 

One thing we did was help out Sebastion carry an oven and some rocks to their place. These… ovens, have supposedly been popping up around, and I want to figure out what’s going on there. Regardless, Sebastion said they’d pay me when we next meet.

Been practicing Polearms like my father wanted! Spears are… different, but I’m making progress. It’s a slow… but necessary burn… I will protect others. I must.

A Vampire supposedly roams about… fortunately haven’t seen it yet. It’s… still a scary thought. Need to stay safe for now.

A fellow named Bear mentioned needing a sponsor. I’m… still thinking on that.

I will continue to write in here as time goes on. I’m sure I’ll have much to discuss in due time.
