I just wanted to post a small wishlist for the future.

  • ability to dye player-written book covers (if this is illogical due to bark, can we dye a crafted 'book cover' item made out of paper or cloth and wrap it around the book, changing the sprite?)
  • ability to collate existing papers with writing into a book. i do like the way the recipe book works....but LOL i'd like to be able to collate my old ledgers or old gardening schedule notes, but it's not worth it to me to copy it into a fresh book (i think logically i'd just start off a fresh book with the next ledger, but if i could paste my old papers in there with flour glue or sap at least...then i get to have all my recordkeeping in one place). right now i do have them gathered in a folder but folders are a little more inconvenient to read back on nostalgically than a book with flippable pages
  • I understand why we can't write more on previously-written lines. However, is it maybe possible to add a single strike through a previously written line in its entirety?
  • Alternatively, is some kind of table format book/page possible with separately editable cells? Even if it's limited to pre-made table templates that have to be filled in as-is (rather than more complex freely editable ones lol). I'd like to be able to chart data in game in some limited capacity - growth times, logs of whether I've completed past orders, payment records, logs of library loans....
  • BBCode preview function (on the website is fine too) to check that a single line of text on a piece of paper ends up as a single line once BBCode is applied
