This also applies to leaf bags. Also, items that become invisible but still have text visible underneath cannot be dragged onto counters (but they can continue to be opened and interacted with otherwise).

My folders also sometimes become invisible upon pickup (and then behave the same way as an invisible bag would).

Relogging makes invisible containers become visible again, which allows you to put them on counters.
