I remember when Cinna just walked in and started low-key threatening Molly, who had never met her, over some alleged debt to Sessha, iirc. That was hilarious

Azalev doesn't have hobbies in the sense that xey are just constantly following their own nonsensical whims no matter what
They like.... sniffing...... making potions...... being 'evil'...... rolling in grass..... splashing puddles....
I feel like most things that might upset them they'll just run around head empty for a bit and they'll forget about it or recontextualize it to themself in such a way that is... more whimsical and self empowering? (100% wrong)
They might howled and whined all night about drinking ten cups of ink but the next day they were actually so brave fighting those belly demons.
Molly's on a list. She's watching you.
Molly's on plenty of lists, being an orange/purple archmage kind of makes that less of an issue
the girls are fightinggggggg
You can make the text tiny on here??
Tell me how to make text only show up on highlighting and I'll tell you how.
You have to go into the HTML editor and create a "span" element, then give it the "text-black" and "bg-black" classes. That recreates the spoiler tags some forums have.
Noted. I just made it subscript lol
Ugh. She should be home dressing fabulously, attending royal events every week, and dabbling and all sort of made up rich people hobbies. Where is the novelty?? The art salons? The auctions?? The fact she isn't being catered to and pampered is kind of a crime? Worst summering ever. 😒
Well, besides wallowing dramatically, she can at least find some entertainment in watching or performing with the more theatrical critters. Miracle enjoys acting, dancing, and singing.
She likes flexing her magic (though becomes frustrated and in her head if it doesn't come effortlessly). If she had more of her wealth from home she'd like flexing that and hosting her own parties probably. She has a particular interest in gardens and insect-keeping (though she had staff to handle the dirtier parts of that of course).
She does crave a good spa day- Personal grooming, having a nice bath, brushing, doing her makeup all make her feel more like herself.
Miracle also loves gossip, pranks, sometimes even matchmaking. She's still dying for some wine.
The best thing to do is go climb in trees where nobody knows where you are and you don't know which way you're going! Just get out there and find something new!
Journaling
and doodling stuff helps them cope with the everyday stuff, I think. They also
try sewing and embroidering a little, but it’s a very new skill for them. Whenever the horrors really hit, Eyas tends to disappear for a bit, going
somewhere they’re less likely to encounter other people. They like just getting lost, finding stuff, observing bugs and spacing out. Water is their favorite –
swimming, looking for rocks and shells, listening to the waves.
In a modern AU they’d love horror movies and arguing online…
Quarrel finds comfort in pretty much anything related to the pantheon - reading the books, writing their thoughts about them, maintaining the temple. I wouldn't say they handled the horrors well... usually they would break down when they thought no one was around to see them, hide away from everyone for weeks on end, and repeatedly ensure nothing was going wrong. They'll have healthier hobbies and better balance on the return. At least, I think beekeeping and scribing is better than obsessively waiting for something terrible to happen because of your understandable but still very unwell paranoia. :P
So, this week's question was going to be music related, but a thread was made about that, so I'd rather link it here! Go interact with it when you're done.
Instead we've been given a convenient topic for character exploration... birthdays and the kalrisian zodiac! What is your character's birthday? Do they celebrate? Does the one they're connected to mean anything to them... or you?
For those who may not have seen the teasers, you can see your character's birthday on the character sheet from the website. You can also send a modmail to change it if needed. ;) Here's the zodiac list:
Wolf, Phoenix, Bear, Owl, Boar, Tiger, Lizard, Eagle, Lion, Snake, Mantis, Ram, Swan, Spider, Salmon, Stag
Harris was born 10 Berryripe, Year of the Phoenix, 114.
But he doesn't know that. :p
Because he doesn't know the exact day, he picked out Sunsong 7th as a chosen birthday.
I'm still debating exactly how much he knows about the zodiac/birthday customs (leaning more lore in game will probably make me and him more interested).
I think it's likely he knows some, but may have gotten things muddled, or taught less common practices along the way.
In any case birthdays definitely are special to him. He probably would know he's a Phoenix, and find a sense of connection/comfort in that even if he literally doesn't know what a Phoenix is. He'll enjoy learning more, I could picture him being pretty into it. Super excited for him to experience the Phoenix-related holiday.
Again, without knowing any further Farwoods-specific Phoenix lore, I like this for him. Never beating the arsonist allegations.
Besides Wolf, it's probably what I would have picked anyway (and I only liked Wolf because that seems a bit Opposite of him lol).
